Richard Wayne "Ricky" Stevens, 58 year-old Jay resident, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Integris Grove Hospital. Ricky was born July 28, 1948 in Tokyo, Japan to Clarence Harding Stevens and Hilda Medlin Stevens. He had worked at a toy factory in Arkansas and also at some local poultry farms. The family includes: his father C. H. Stevens of Wagoner, his step-mother Velva Stevens of Adair, one sister, Sina Stevens of Rudy, Arkansas, and a brother Billy Boyd Stevens of the state of Kansas. The Funeral service will be held, Saturday January 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel of Jay. Interment will follow at the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery.
