Robert Colvin

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555, Robert Eugene Colvin, 70 year old Cleora resident, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Robert was born in Peoria, IL on August 11, 1944 to Snowden and Rena Mae (Turner) Colvin. On November 22, 1980 he was united in marriage to Retha McCracken. Robert was very mechanical and loved working on vehicles. He was also an active member of the Ketchum United Methodist Church. Before moving to Oklahoma, he worked construction for Becker Brothers and George Brooks in Illinois. Survivors include his wife Retha Colvin of the home, daughters: Rena Colvin of Cleora and Patty Colvin of Muskogee, grandson Dakota Mann, sister Margaret Bush and husband Harold of Chillicothe, IL, 1 niece, 2 nephews, and 15 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and Aunt Mattie Bruner who helped raise him. Vistiation will be from 9-10 AM Monday at the Ketchum United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Ketchum United Methodist Church with Pastor Leon Landrum officiating. Interment will follow at Ketchum Cemetery.
