Robert Mcfarland

Robert Earl "Bob" McFarland Jr., age 73 of Vinita, died Friday, July 16, 2010. Bob was born in Collinsville, OK on September 3, 1936, the son of Robert and Daisy (Mount) McFarland. On January 7, 1956 he was united in marriage to Ola Tanner and together they raised 7 children. His hobbies included camping, fishing, and gardening. He also loved watching wrestling and westerns, but most of all he loved his family. Bob also attended Dupree Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Ola McFarland of the home, children: Pamela West and husband George of Vinita, Janet Combs and husband Leon of Afton, Kathy Bowers and husband John of Vinita, Bobbie Barris of Vinita, Robert "Bud" McFarland and wife Michelle of Ketchum, Lori Holloway and husband Johnnie of Pryor, and Dee McFarland and Rachael Gates of Pryor, as well as 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, and brothers Johnny McFarland, Malfort McFarland, and Jimmy McFarland. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor George Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Military Cemetery.
