Robert Fromeyer Sr.

Robert William Fromeyer, Sr. passed away at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa, OK on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the age of 48. Robert was born on November 26, 2012 in Culver City, CA, the son of Joel Glen Fromeyer and Carolyn Sue (Tyra) Fromeyer. Robert grew up in Hemet, CA and attended school there until he joined the United States Army at 17 and the National Guard during the Dessert Storm era. After serving his country, Robert returned to the states where he started his work in law enforcement. He began his career in law enforcement in 1980. He retired from law enforcement in 2010. Robert dedicated his life to law enforcement and he lived by the motto of protect and serve. Robert enjoyed family, golfing, fishing, his car, and most of all practical jokes. He was preceded in death by his father; brother Jerry Glen Fromeyer; and step-father Bob Gilliam. He is survived by his wife Sharon of the home; mother Carolyn Sue Gilliam; children: Robert William Fromeyer, Jr., Michael Shane Fromeyer, Jacob Ryan Fromeyer, Allan Fromeyer, Michael Kidd Warren, and April Lynn Fromeyer; five granddaughters; one grandson; sister Susie Fromeyer-Lopez; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins The funeral service will be held at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 2PM with Pastor Tony Wisdom, presiding. A cremation will follow the service. The family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK on Monday, September 10, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK. Friends and family may leave notes of encouragement by viewing Robert's Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com. Honorary casket bearers will be Robert William Fromeyer, Jr., Michael Shane Fromeyer, Jacob Ryan Fromeyer, Allan Fromeyer, Michael Kidd Warren, and the Deleware County Sheriff's Department.
