Robert Luther

Robert Lee Luther, age 75 died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his home in Ketchum. He was born in Bonn Terre, MO on April 3, 1936 the son of Francis and Golda Stewart Luther. In 1953 he graduated from Bonn Terre High School and later attended college at U.C.L.A. earning a Master's in Business Administration. Robert served in the United States Army for twenty four and one half years. After his retirement from the Army he worked in the insurance business as well as farmed, raised cattle, and worked as a truck driver for CFI. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Luther of the home, children April Luther of Vinita, Lucretia Varnum and husband John of Iron City, GA, Robby Luther of Pelham GA, Bufford Luther and his wife Tina of Iron City, GA, six grandchildren, Eric, Steven, Jessica, Brandon, Gene, and T.J., great grandchildren, Austin, Liz, and Travis, Jake and Neoma Wiensof Ketchum, and James Wiens of Ketchum. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday January 23, 2012 at the first Christian Church at Langley with Pastors Joel Rutherford Pastor Leland Bartlett and Bob's friend Dave Bradley officiating.
