Robert E. Toth was born on May 6, 1924 in Cherryvale, Kansas. He was the son of John (Toby) Toth and Opal (Wantland) Toth. In 1937, the family moved to Bartlesville. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII, serving in the South Pacific. He received his Honorable Discharge following his tour of duty. Throughout his lifetime, he was extremely proud of his service to his Country as a United States Marine. Bob married the love of his life, Margie H. Cunningham, in Independence, Kansas on July 6, 1946. The couple made their home in Bartlesville, moving to the Okesa area to farm. Bob was a truck driver, small motors repairman, and he owned his own business at one time. He also worked at the First United Methodist Church, Bartlesville. He loved working in the family garden, taking care of all the animals and he loved his dogs, Sugar, Roz, Lacey and Cuddles. He was a loving husband, dad and granddad. Bob is survived by his wife, Margie, of the family home in Okesa; sons, Steve and his wife, Marci, Ben and his wife, Patty, all of Bartlesville, Brandy and his wife, Katy, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Kim and his wife, Marilyn, of Nowata, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Ben of West Allis, Wisconsin; sister, Mary Lewis of Bartlesville; sisters-in-law, Margaret Toth and Hazel Mooney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Toth; niece, Punkin Cabrera; brother, Bill Toth; sister, Barbara Brown; twin grandbabies; and nephews, Charlie Lewis and Jamie Lewis.
