Dr. Ronald Mark Forristall went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 28th, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 24th, 1959 in Wichita, KS to Curtis and Dee Forristall. After graduation from Tulsa Webster High School, Ron attended the University of Oklahoma, received his undergraduate in Microbiology, then accepted into med school and graduated from the OU med school in 1984. His orthopedic residency was performed at KU in 1989, with fellowships in Kansas City, Chicago, IL, and Wichita, KS. Ron began his practice in Tahlequah, OK, and then relocated to Grove, OK in 1994. Ron was a Christian, leader, husband, father, brother, mentor, and a spectacular healer of bones. He lived life to the fullest, loved racing his Porsches, rock climbing 4-wheelers, fishing, hunting, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife Lisa (Robnett) Forristall, parents Curtis and Dee Forristall of Tahlequah, Brother Randall Forristall and wife Kelly of Blanchard, OK, daughters Stefanie Forristall of Chicago, Trudi Quiett and Jamie Sego both of Tahlequah, OK. Grandsons Trae Cook and Hayden Sharp, granddaughters Taylor Hodge and Emma Sego, plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Special thanks to Drs. Tracy Coe, Zack Bechtol, Mike Foster, and Tom Crosby for their excellent care in his time of needs. Memorial services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Grove, OK on Monday, July 2nd, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Gary Bishop of Delaware Baptist Church in Grove, OK will be officiating Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Integris Grove Hospital Foundation.
