Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Grove, Oklahoma (918) 786-2261 --- Ronald "Ron" Migis, 78 of Grove, Oklahoma passed away January 30, 2015. Ron was a beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandpa, who celebrated 54 years of marriage to his wonderful loving wife, Mary Jane (Stratman). Ron is also survived by four children and their spouses: daughter Kathy and Husband Ric, daughter Cheryl and husband Carl, son Joe and wife Melissa, and son James and wife Mikki, ten grandchildren: Jereme, Jaclyn, Christopher, Michael, Joe, Emily, Maddie, Michael, Jonathan and Jordan, six great grandchildren: Grant, Blasé, Grayson, Storm, Ice, and one on the way, sister and brother In-laws: Fran and Pat White, Jack and Joanie Stratman, Ann and Tom Schwartz and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews Ron attended the University of Omaha and studied engineering. His career consisted of engineering and management roles in the telecommunications industry for over 38 years. He was a pilot for 46 years and his passion for flying was contagious as his wife and two sons also became pilots. Ron served as a volunteer in his community and was dedicated to many charitable organizations such as the Christian Missions Shop in Grove, Ok. He was an active member at St. Elizabeth Church, Masonic Lodge, Knights of Columbus, and Shriners. Ron was a true disciple of the Lord. Through his discipleship, he used many of his talents to help and serve others. His smile and compassionate heart will be sorely missed. Ron was preceded in death by his father Joseph Paul Migis, his mother Hattie Louise Migis, and one brother. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Grove, OK on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Alex Kennedy, celebrant. Burial will follow at Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, OK. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m..
