Ronald Lee Newman of Noel, Mo., died Tuesday March 13, 2007 at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was 59. Ronald was born July 24, 1947 to William Lewis and Omia Belle Newman at Pocahontas, Virginia. He served eight years in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Army he served ten years in the National Guard. Ronald has lived in Noel, Mo. during the past ten years. He drove a truck for Simmons Foods and was active with the Meals on Wheels program. Survivors include one son: Tim Newman and his fiancée Lori Crenshaw of Wyandotte, Ok. Two step daughters: Amanda Smith of Joplin, Mo., and Elizabeth Woodrum of Anderson, Mo. One brother: William Lewis Newman of Virginia. A special niece, Kim Gould of Noel, Mo., along with 6 grandchildren. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday March 16, 2007 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home 711 S. Main St. Grove, Ok. Joel Maxwell to officiate. Military Rites will be provided by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team. His final resting place will be at the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove. Family will receive friends from 7-9:00 PM Thursday at the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel.
