On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Ronald Ray Thorn passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Ascension St John Medical Center, at the age of 63.
Ronald was born on March 31, 1961, to Lonnie Leon Thorn and Sarah Elizabeth (Woodworth) Thorn in Stillwell, Oklahoma.
If anyone had a love for life, it was Ronald. With a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face, Ronald lived each day to its fullest; making the most of the opportunities presented to him and embracing them.
For around 20 years, Ronald, with the help of his staff, ran his own vending machine business, which was called RT Vending. Ronald completed everything for the business such as ordering and stocking the toys for the machines, collecting profits from the machines, and even completing the proper documentation for tax purposes. Ronald’s best producer in his vending machine business was the Copan Truck Stop.
Ronald was definitely a “man’s man”, and he loved motorcycles, monster trucks, and dune buggies. He enjoyed attending motorcycle rallies with his durag and leather jacket, watching wrestling, camping, and going duning. In his free time, he enjoyed building things with blocks or Lincoln logs, doing puzzles, watching tv, stickers, attending social events, and sitting on front porch swing.
Ronald flourished when he was with the people that he loved that loved him. He was kind but had a sense of humor and enjoyed jokes. Ronald will be missed by those whom loved him the most.
Those left to cherish the memory of Ronald include his brother: Raymond Thorn of Bartlesville, OK; his longtime family friend: LouAnn Rhodes of Pearland, TX, along with many other longtime friends.
A come and go visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Funeral service for Ronald will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Little officiating.
