Ronnie Dixon

Ronnie Eugene "Bud" Dixon, age 61 of Vinita, died Friday, June 17, 2011. Bud was born in Vinita on August 26, 1949, the son of Oscar and Dorothy (Green) Dixon. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Bud was also employed with Protein Technologies in Pryor for over 25 years. He enjoyed playing games, watching sports, fishing, and sitting on his porch. Survivors include his mother Dorothy Dixon of Vinita, daughter Stacy Sponsler and husband Dustin of Tulsa, son Erik Dixon of Atlanta, GA, and brothers: Roger Dixon, Jack Dixon, Greg Dixon, John Dixon, Rick Dixon all of Vinita and Curtis Dixon of Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father Oscar Dixon. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Pheasant Hill Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Goodrich officiating.
