Rose Marie Lauchner, 80 year old Vinita resident, died Friday March 15, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born May 2, 1932 in Holly, Colorado to Edward and Laura (Pollart) Willy. The family moved to Vinita in 1935, Rose attended school and graduated from the Sacred Heart Academy. She married Raymond Eugene Lauchner on March 27, 1951; he preceded her in death in 1969. Rose was a Stanley Home Products salesperson for many years, until her passing, she had won many sales awards over the years. Rose was a 25 year employee of the Home of Hope; she received an award from the Department of Human Services for her work with the developmentally disabled, The Best of the Best award (service division). Rose was a Cherry Red Volunteer at Craig General Hospital. She had also been a cook at the Will Rogers Elementary School and worked in her early years at the Stanislaus Company. Rose was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita, serving in many capacities, including the Catholic Women and the Oktoberfest. She had also volunteered many hours to the Vinita Little League and the Vinita Wrestling programs. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Raymond, brothers, R.E. Willy and Donald Willy. The family includes: her children, Carl Lauchner and wife Brenda of Vinita, Ricky Lauchner and wife April of Bluejacket, Anthony Lauchner and wife Susan of Belton, TX, Alan Lauchner and wife Debbie of Cushing, John Lauchner and wife Tammy of Broussard, LA, Sharon England and husband Sonny of Vinita and Vicki Kelly of Vinita; brothers, Robert Willy and wife Anita of Vinita, Paul Willy and wife Trisha of Terrell, TX, sister Mary Ann Schwartz of Vinita; twenty grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The Rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita. The family will receive friends after the rosary at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday March 21, 2013 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita, with Rev. Michael Cashen officiating. Casket bearers will be her grandson's, Raymond Lauchner, Chris England, Jeff England, Chet Lauchner, Adam Lauchner, and Brian Lauchner; Honorary bearers will be Justin Tune, Ted Lauchner and Craig Lauchner.
