Vinita, OK - Rose Bunnie Reno, 78, died Sunday afternoon, October 7, 2007 at her home in Vinita. Bunnie was born May 20, 1929 at Ketchum, Oklahoma to W.L. Reno and Alma (Smith) Reno. She grew up in Ketchum and attended Cleora Schools and graduated from Ketchum High School. Bunnie received her LPN education at Rogers State College, Claremore, Oklahoma and her RN degree from Tulsa University. She was a Chem-mill operator for McDonnell Douglas of Tulsa, Oklahoma until retirement in the early 1990s. While working for McDonnell Douglas, Bunnie lived in Claremore, Oklahoma, moving to Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She also resided in Tulsa and Langley, Oklahoma, before moving to Vinita a year ago. Bunnie was of the Catholic faith. She loved to read and shop, especially at flea markets for treasures. Survivors are her son, Kelly Donohue of Pryor, Oklahoma; one daughter, Melanie Donohue of Jay, Oklahoma; one brother, Paul Reno of Oakland, California; one grandson, Matthew Kelly Donohue of Salina, Oklahoma; one great-grandson, Reno Morgan Donohue and a great-granddaughter, Sienna Donohue, both of Salina. She was preceded in death by her parents; by a son, Randall Reno Donohue in 1995; by five brothers, Ramon, Lewis, Charlie, Roy and Wayne Reno and by three sisters, Mae Hover, Dorris Reno and Wanna Curtis. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita. Interment will be in Ketchum Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
