Roselea Colvin, 87 year old long time Big Cabin area resident, died Saturday May 11, 2013 at Rosewood Terrace Nursing Center in Vinita. She was born August 4, 1925 near White Oak, to Owen Theodore "OT" and Ruth Irene (White) Miers. Roselea graduated from White Oak High School. She was married to George Earl Colvin on March 31, 1943 in Vinita; He preceded her in death on August 28, 1996. Roselea worked as a stenographer for Craig County, at the Glass House as a Hostess, King Louie Manufacturing and for Craig General Hospital. She was a member of the Carselowey Four Square Church "New Life" near Ketchum. Roselea enjoyed flowers, sewing and gardening. The family includes: her children, Buster Colvin and wife Robin of Big Cabin, Charlie Colvin and wife Rachel of Clinton, Elaine Evans and husband Marty of Big Cabin; brothers, Robert Miers and wife Carol of Twin Oaks, Bill Miers and wife Beverly of Iowa; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and a sister Naomi Falling in 2010. The graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Timpson Chapel Cemetery, north of White Oak, with Pastor Bruce Butler officiating.
