Rosie Noblitt Willis, ninety seven year old Nowata resident died Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Nowata Nursing Center. She was born January 19, 1914 in Claremore, OK to Steven M Jordan and Martha E. Manley Jordan. Rosie was raised and educated at the Owalla community and has lived in the Nowata area for the past seventy years, living at the Nursing home for the past eight years. Rosie enjoyed sewing, working puzzles, cooking and gardening. Rosie leaves behind one son Roy Noblitt, two daughters, Shirley Sears and June Neel, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands: Elsworth J. Noblitt, Forrest M. Cook and Guy Willis, one son Walter Noblitt, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be Friday July 8, 2011 at Benjamin Funeral Home at 10:00 with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
