Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK 918-786-2261. Roy Edwin McKinley, 89 year old Grove, OK, resident passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015. Roy was born on December 13, 1925, in Belle Plaine, KS, to Leland and Thelma (Hollis) McKinley. He worked for the railroad department. Roy was married to Anna (Ware) on November 9, 1944 in Wichita, KS. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, carpentry, camping and boating. He liked working at the church and loved having fish frys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Thelma McKinley; one son, John McKinley; three sisters, Connie Thorson, Marie Lindsey and Susie Rundles; and one brother, Marvin McKinley. Roy is survived by his wife Anna McKinley of the home; three sons, Roy McKinley of Independence, MO, Michael McKinley of Denver, CO, and David McKinley of Portland, OR; two daughters, Anna Limbaugh of Grove, OK, and Carolyn Howard of Portland, OR; one brother, Richard McKinley, of Vilonia, AR; 12 grandchildren, 20 great granchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 11:00 am at ST. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove, OK with Father Alex Kennedy officiating. Pallbearers will be The Knights of Columbus; Larry Brunk, Rich McCormick, Steve Nutter, Chuck Moser, Art Pinsart, & Dennis Boyles. Honorary Pallbearers will Bill Hazen, Dr. Kyle Schauf, & Jim Larson. Interment to follow at Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, OK. Rosary will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, at 6:00 pm at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, OK.
