Roy Milton Phillips, 78 year old Eucha, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday August 5, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roy was born on November 6, 1933 to Roy Oscar Phillips and Laura (Mass) Phillips. Roy attended school in Jay and graduated in 1952. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Roy worked most of his life as a heavy equipment master mechanic and supervisor. Roy also ran a farm most of his life. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed all kinds of fishing, especially crappie. He also enjoyed country music. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley (Jones) Phillips, brother, Bob Phillips, and a sister, Beverly Phillips Roy is survived by his wife, Gail Phillips, of the home, sons, Roy D. Phillips of Medford, Oregon, William R. Phillips of Jay, Oklahoma, and Richard D. Phillips and wife Kelly of Elsberry, Missouri, daughter, Debra Adams, of Jay, Oklahoma, and a sister Sydney Ann Foust of Medford, Oregon. Roy is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Roy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday August 9, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. A visitation for Roy will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
