Ruby Hinds

Ruby Pearl Bauswell Arwood Hinds, 81 years, 11 months and 26 days passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007 in the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Ruby was born on the homestead August 20, 1925 in Grundy, Virginia to Frank and Pearl (Silcox) Bauswell. Ruby was reared in Grundy, Virginia. Ruby had eight brothers and sisters: Tilvis, Dewey, Lee, L.C., Janice, Ann, Unice and Mary. Ruby was blessed with six children: Gary, Theresa, Sherry, Kenneth, Pamela and Robin. Ruby is survived by: Gary Bauswell and wife Shelly of Michigan, Theresa Livingston and husband Joe of Ok, Sherry Olson and husband Timothy of Ok, Kenneth Arwood of Ok, Pamela Mants and husband Rex of Ok, Robin Taylor and husband Robert of Ok, Janice and Andy Pretico, Ann and Bob Ockoa, Tilvis and Kare Bauswell, Dewey Bauswell, Unice Ramsey, numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was a loving grandmother too: Angie and Tim Hock of Ok, James Thompson of Ok, William and Kimberly Brooks of Florida, Jennifer Lord of Ok, Carrie and Shawn Harris of Ok, Timothy and Danneta Brooks of Ok, Michael and Lori Morton of Ok, Steven and Vanessa Arwood of Ok, Rusty and Mica Taylor of New Mexico, Amanda and Dusten Wright of Ok, Christina and Michael Goodmanson, Amy and Ronnie Seal of Ok, Donald Taylor of Ok, Tina Bauswell of Michigan, David Bauswell of Michigan, Timmy and Lisa Bauswell of Michigan and Kenny Bauswell also of Michigan. Ruby is survived by 39 great grandchildren. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Pearl Bauswell, her spouses Lyn Arwood and Arnold Hinds, two granddaughters Tawyna Lynn Thompson and Mariah Lee Taylor, two brothers Lee Bauswell and L.C. Bauswell, one sister Mary Avon, one sister in law Tiny Bauswell and one brother in law Ave Avon. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Wallace Thames officiating.
