Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK 918-786-2261...Ruby Pearl (Bible) Keeter, 103 years 7 month 11 day old Grove resident went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, July 30, 2015. Ruby was born on December 19, 1911 in Ramona, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Christopher Ray and Bessie (Faulkner) Bible. To put things in perspective, William Taft was the President of the United States when she was born, WWI ended when she was 6, when social security was established she was 16, the great depression started when she was 18 years old, so to say that Ruby lived a full life is an understatement. Ruby enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, writing and reading. When asked, Ruby would always say she had too many good memories to name any one in particular. Ruby was a school teacher and she would tell the young people to live a holy life. "Don't go the wrong way," she urged, "Go the right way of Jesus Christ." Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ester Keeter, two children; Ester Louise Keeter and Donald Ray Keeter, and son in law Bryan Caswell. She is survived by her five children; Tommy Keeter of Joplin, MO, Eva Mayfield and her husband Jerry of Tulsa, OK, Peggy Caswell of Zena, OK, Sue Cooper and her husband Charlie of Grove, OK and Maralyn Webster and her husband Clayton of Joplin, MO. Ruby was blessed with 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Monday, August 3, 2015 at the First Christian Church with Dr. Wayne Shaw officiating. Ruby will be laid to rest beside her husband in Zena Cemetery.
