Ruby Pauline Manley, 100, of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away on August 18, 2011 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. Ruby was born on August 11, 1911 to William Vernon and Sarah Elizabeth (Estes) Tate. Ruby was married to Floyd M. Manley on December 22, 1934 in Nowata, OK until he passed away in December of 1969. She was a member of Living Word Family Church and went whenever she was able. Ruby loved her grandkids and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed going for walks and reading. Ruby is survived by six children, Patsy J. Abel, Sara A. Gering, Viva J. Bellamy, Donna M. Beisley, Judy L. Hesslen all of Nowata and Floyd M. Manley, Jr. of Delaware; one sister, Opal DeMoss of Hoisington, Kansas, twenty eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Mrs. Manley was preceded by her parents, William and Sarah Tate; her husband Floyd M. Manley; two sons, Ronald Gene Manley and Johnie Lee Manley; four brothers, Willie Tate, Charles Ray (Babe) Tate, Pat Tate, Alfred Tate; three sisters, Jenny Cobb, Gladys Inman, and Mildred Scott; one grandson, Gary Wayne Manley. Funeral Services for Ruby will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Jim Winslow officiating.
