Rufus Randall

Rufus Eugene Randall, 89-year-old Nowata resident, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center in Nowata. Rufus was born September 2, 1920 in Crestline, Kansas to Clarence Benjamin Randall and Mamie Martin-Randall. On January 12, 1937, she married Nora Lee Hull in Joplin, Missouri. She preceded him in death. He was the owner of Randall Tire Store in Nowata. He was a U.S. Military Veteran and a past Commander of Ballard Lack Post 2745 VFW in Nowata, OK. Rufus Randall is survived by one daughter, Judy Randall, Nowata, OK; two grandchildren, Randy Anderson and Valerie Hathcoat; five great-grandchildren, Justin Partain, Nancy Nicole Hathcoat, Ethan Hathcoat, Sommer Faulconer, and Ashley Anderson; one great-great grandson, Peyton Faulconer. Funeral services for Mr. Randall will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2 P.M. at the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Killion officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park, Nowata, OK. On-line condolences can be left for the family at www.honoringmemories.com.
