ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Ruth E. "Babe" Goodman, age 91 and former resident of Dewey, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday in Owasso, Oklahoma. Ruth Elizabeth Goodman was born on August 8, 1924 in Hominy, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Cyrus Steven Goodman and Rada (Booker) Goodman. Her early years were spent in Hominy, Oklahoma where she graduated high school. Ruth moved to Dewey after high school. She became an employee of the Federal Government, ASCS Division of USDA. After many years of loyal service, she retired in 1973, continuing her residence in Dewey. Ruth was a member of the First Church of God and was active in the Women's Missionary Society (now WCOG). She enjoyed sports, and especially she enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. She was a beloved sister, aunt and friend and she will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her nephews, Chester Knight of Verdigris, Oklahoma, Steve Hicks of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Mike Harrell of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, and Allyn Harrell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and nieces, Kathe Knight of Verdigris, and Jonna Martin of Perry, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Reva Hicks and Louise Knight; and brother, O. B. Harrell. Burial will be in the Dewey City Cemetery beside her parents, Cyrus and Rada. Arrangements are under the direction of the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey, Bartlesville.
