Ruth Ellen Hill, 65, of Nowata passed away in her home Wednesday, July 29, 2015. She was born May 5, 1950 in Nowata to Leo Campbell and Nettie Frances (Lemmons) Dick. Ruth worked as a Certified Medical Assistant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she sang with the Golden Notes Choir, and was a member of the Percellia class. Ruth served as the director for the Nowata Senior Citizens Center, a Nowata City Commissioner, and volunteer for the Salvation Army. Ruth was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She held a special place in her heart for all of her family. Ruth will be missed by all who knew her. Ruth is survived by her husband Fred, of the home; twelve children, Christina Roberson of Nowata, Shannon Hill of Nowata, Timmy Roberson , John Roberson and Carla Roberson of Carlsbad, NM, Ann Hill and Linda Hill both of Nowata, Donald Hill of Coffeyville, Cornell Burnett, Kim Burnett of Coffeyville, Ricky Hyche, Rodney Hyche of Wichita, Randy Hyche of Bartlesville; six siblings, Lillian Crisp, Leona Hogue both of Nowata, Paul Dick of Dewey, Donald Dick of Tuttle, John Dick of Bartlesville, Joe Dick of South Coffeyville, 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Nettie Dick, her sisters Velma Harvey, Margaret Smith Nadine Dick, one brother Charles Dick, two sister in laws Glenna, and Susie Dick.
