Ruth Spears

Ruth C. Spears, age 65 of Vinita, died Saturday October 10, 2009. Ruth was born in Farmsville, Virginia on April 4, 1944 the daughter of Edgar and Fredah (Swindle) Larkin. In 1962 Ruth joined the United States Marine Corp. She was proud to serve her country. She also worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for many years. Ruth loved her family and her two cats. She also enjoyed crafting, fishing, visiting, playing Dominos, and attending church at the First Baptist Church of Disney. Survivors include her brothers Ray and Ed Larkin and sister Sue Larkin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews including Dawn Holt and family, Ron Larkin, Shelia Beckton, and great niece Gracie Beth Larkin. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday October 15, 2009 at the South Grand Lake Baptist Church in Disney, OK with Rev. Mike DeMoss and Rev.
