Ruth May Steinert, Grove resident, died at home Friday morning November 5, 2010 at the age of 80 years. She was born on May 31, 1930 in Ideal, South Dakota to her parents Ray and Margarette (Lenker) Hibbs. Ruth attended and graduated from school in Winner, South Dakota. She was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed fishing, and working in her yard. Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters. Ruth leaves many loving memories with her family, husband, George; four sons, Robert Keesee, Jerry Keesee, Ron Keesee , & JD Keesee; sister, Betty Kelsey; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and a host of friends. Funeral service will be 6:00 PM Monday evening with Chaplain David Rycroft officiating, with visitation and fellowship immediately following until 8:00 PM. Interment will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 10, 2010 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita, Kansas. Ruth's family would like to express a "Special Thank You" to the entire staff of Good Shepherd Hospice for all the help, dedication and compassion they have shown Ruth and her family during this time.
