Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Ruthie May DePetris, 78 year old resident of Eucha, Oklahoma, passed away on August 24, 2018 after a 10 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's disease.
Ruthie was born on March 15, 1940 in Atoka, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Fred and Zettie (Locke) Lindabury. She was united in marriage to her husband of 63 years Sam Depetris. Together Sam and Ruthie operated a trucking company hauling gravel and sand.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Freddie DePetris, a granddaughter Melissa DePetris, her brother Jim Lindabury. Ruthie is survived by her husband Sam of the home, her children; Anita DePetris of Glendale, AZ, Joe DePetris and his wife Annie of Eucha, OK, Juanita Allen and her husband Varnell of Phoenix, AZ and Samuel Nathan DePetris of California, two sisters; Ruby Thompson and Nancy Gilbert. Ruthie was blessed with 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.
Private family service for Ruthie will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
