Saddie Louise Breshears, 80 year old Langley resident, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 3, 2013. Saddie was born in Strang, OK on August 28, 1933 to John and Tempa (Wickliffe) Trice. On November 19, 1962 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Breshears. Saddie was actually the one who started Langley City Hall running it for years from her living room. They later built the current city hall building and she worked there until her retirement. She worked for the city of Langley for 30 years. Saddie loved cooking, traveling to Wichita to see her family, and attending the Amazing Grace Chapel in Langley where she was a member. Survivors include her children: John Summers of Wichita, KS, Tom Summers of Langley, Wesley Summers of Langley, and Bobbie Blaha and husband Clinton of Wichita, KS, two sisters: Laura Jean Gray of Langley and Georgia Mae Badley of Jay, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Breshears, and brother Marion Edward "Ed" Trice. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Langley, Oklahoma with Pastor Allen Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Rider Cemetery near Adair.
