Sally-Anne Allingham, Grove resident, age 69 years, died early Sunday morning July 3. 2011. Sally was born on July 28, 1941 to her parents, Theodore Parker and Marion (Hale) Parker in New Milford, Connecticut. She was a cheerleader in high school and graduated from New Milford High school. She always knew she wanted to be a nurse so after graduating she attended the Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing in Waterbury, CT. She later obtained her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at Golden West College in Orange County, California. Sally and her family moved to Grove in April 1999 from Orange County, California. Sally loved playing all types of games, watching movies, cooking, but most of all entertaining her friends and family. She was the matriarch of her family and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren; she was a ‘mother hen' to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Sherman Parker. Sally leaves many loving memories with her family, sons, Sean and Kevin Allingham; daughter, Heather Moch; sister, Jane Carpenter; her grandchildren, Kevin Patrick Allingham II, Taylor Anne Moch, Sean Joseph Allingham II, Tanner Sherman Moch, Marissa Richards, Jeremy Richards, Shane Allingham; and her first great grandchild on the way, Kevin Patrick Allingham III. A celebration of Sally-Anne's life will be held on Saturday July 9th, 4 o'clock At Raggedy's Restaurant. Bring happy memories, love & laughter.
