Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - 918-782-4400..... Sam Mitchell Lemons, 66 year old Ketchum resident, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. Sam was born in Vinita on September 15, 1948 to James William Lemons and Lorena P. (Williams) Lemons. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1966-1970. On November 23, 1979 he was united in marriage to Yolonda Cattarusa and together they raised two sons. Sam worked as a truck driver for nearly 30 years as well as being a cattle rancher. He was a very selfless man who was always willing to help others. He loved his family and always made care packages for his grandchildren. He was a member of Grace Point Methodist Church in Ketchum. Survivors include his loving wife Yolonda of the home, sons Jason Lemons and wife Amber of Ketchum, Matt Lemons of Ketchum, and daughter-in-law Vinica Lemons, daughter in law Ebie Sneed, brother Art Lemons of Ketchum, special cousins Betty and Lawrence Baker, grandchildren: Katrina Tubbs, James Sands, Samantha Lemons, Kylin Hughes, and Wyatt Lemons, great grandchildren Kadon Lemons and Alexis Tubbs, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Grace Point Methodist Church in Ketchum with Pastor Stephen Nation officiating. Interment will follow at McLaughlin Cemetery.
