Saumuel Leroy Parks, 83 year old Vinita resident died Wednesday December 29, 1010 at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita. He was born March 4, 1927 at Strang, OK the son of Samuel Parks Jr. and Judy Rattlingourd Parks. Sam was a life area resident of the Spavinaw Strang area and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed being visiting, helping and caring for other people. Sam leaves behind one sister Rose Parks of Pennsylvania, two brothers, Josh parks of Nowata and Steve Parks of Tulsa and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 5, 2010 at Ketchum Cemetery with Rev. Robert Ramsey Jr. officiating under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
