Sandra Kay Hamilton, 76, Dewey, Oklahoma passed away Saturday afternoon, April 6, 2024, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK.
Sandra was born May 13, 1947, at Coffeyville, KS to Archie Collins and Norma Jean (Critchfield) Collins. Sandra grew up in Nowata, OK and graduated from Nowata High School.
Sandra married Floyd Ray Hamilton on February 16, 1964, in Bartlesville. She was a healthcare worker and was social services and activities director for Forest Manor Nursing Center in Dewey.
Sandra loved reading her cooking magazines and trips to Wal-Mart. She enjoyed fishing and going to flea markets. Sandra enjoyed both residents and staff at Forest Manor Nursing Center and spending time with Floyd. She also enjoyed playing piano.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Floyd of the home; by daughters, Terri Moore of Bartlesville, Susan Straley of Cortez, Colorado and Donna Hamilton of Albia, Iowas; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Kenneth Hamilton, by a brother Donald Collins and by a great-granddaughter, Skyla Straley.
Funeral services for Sandra will be 2pm, Friday, April 12, 2024, in the chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Interment will take place in Nowata’s Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
