Sharon Cochran, Rose resident, died at home Wednesday June 9, 2010 surrounded by her family at the age of 46 years. She was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on October 11, 1963 to her parents Walker and Edna (Wolfe) Cochran. She lived in the Delaware County area her entire life, graduating from Kansas High School. She was a member of Elm Prairie Baptist Church in Leach, Oklahoma. Sharon worked as a janitor at Simmons Pet Food Company in Siloam Springs. Sharon is preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Guess. She leaves many loving memories with her family, parents, Walker and Edna Cochran Sr.; brothers, William Guess, Walker Cochran, Jr., and Neil Cochran; sisters, Margo Jean Arnold, Gladys King, Geneva Foreman, Karen Cochran, and Lisa Sharp; as well as many other loving family members and numerous friends. Casket bearers will be Roy Staller, Isaiah Cochran, Jeremy Cochran, Justin Sharp, Emmitt Cochran, Marcus Foreman, and Randy Wolf. Honorary bearers will be Lakota Cochran and Brayden Cochran. Memorials may be made in Sharon's memory to St. Jude's. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sunday June 13, 2010 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday June 14, 2010 at the Kansas High School Gym in Kansas, Oklahoma, with Evangelist Gary Stilley officiating. Interment will follow in the Cochran Cemetery.
