Sharon was born on February 7, 1942, in Claremore, OK, to Woodrow and Leona (Downing) Peak. If you wanted to find Sharon you could always find her at the baseball field, she was at every sporting event with her children and grandchildren. She was known to give the referees a hard time. Sharon had a smile for everyone, and always was encouraging to all. Richard and Sharon had reserved "front row seating" at all home games. She loved church and singing at Sycamore Springs Baptist Church. Sharon worked as a secretary for Sequoyah Indian Schools and retired from Peterson Farm Industries. Sharon enjoyed bowling; she was a member of numerous leagues and competed in multiple tournaments. Richard and Sharon would jump in the car, to randomly visit family and friends, you just didn't know when they would show up.
