Sharon Kaye Hagebusch, 65, of Nowata, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at her home in Nowata. She was born in Nowata to Benny and Sarah (Hawkins) Thomason. She was a 1969 graduate Nowata High School. On November 30, 1973 she married the love of her life, John Hagebusch. Sharon worked as a parts manager for Bell Camper in Bartlesville. John and Sharon had many farm animals and she enjoyed horseback riding and taking care of the chickens, goats, and mules. Sharon loved the outdoors and swimming whenever possible. She and John liked traveling to Little Sahara out in western Oklahoma. Above all she loved her family. Her husband, children and grandchildren had a special place in her heart. She will be missed by all who knew her. Sharon is survived by her husband John of the home; her mother, Sarah Thomason of southern California; two sons, Scott Guffey of Claremore, Robert Hagebusch of Nowata; eight grandchildren, Darren Guffey, Kris Guffey, Tim Guffey, Stacy Guffey, Angel Whitman, Sabrina Morrel, Dylan Hagebusch, Madison Hagebusch, and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Benny Thomason.
