Shirley Lee Wiley 72, of Nowata passed away on October 1, 2009 in the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. Shirley was born on March 18, 1937 in Nowata to Bill and Mamee (Hensley) Graves. She attended Nowata Public Schools and graduated in 1956. Shirley loved to shop on the QVC network. She enjoyed browsing estate sales and garage sales in her spare time and decorating her home with her newly found treasures. Shirley married Norman Wiley in Wichita, Kansas in 1966. Norman was the former Boeing employee and supervisor for 40 years at the Boeing Airline Plant based in Wichita. Shirley loved her family and enjoyed having them all over for an evening of entertainment. She also enjoyed watching old western movies with her husband Norman. Shirley is survived by her husband of 43 years Norman Wiley of the home, 3 children Steve Wiley and his wife Sandy of Monkey Island, Oklahoma the Grand Lake area, Tammy Vallance of Carlisle, Ohio, and William Wiley and his wife Cheryl of Wichita, Kansas, 4 grandchildren Annette Vallance, Andy Fuller, Steffine Wiley, and Mark Kingston, 3 great grandchildren Steven Fuller, Drew Fuller, and Riley Fuller, 4 brothers Don and Wilma Graves, Johnny and Sandy Graves, Hubert Graves, and JR and Rita Graves, and numerous other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mamee Graves, and 2 sisters Betty Hendricks and Katherine Lay. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel in Nowata.
