Grove, Oklahoma Silvia Walls Silvia Naomia Walls of Grove died Saturday January 13, 2007 at the Grove Nursing Home at the age of 87. Silvia was born January 15, 1919 to Henry and Mattie (Johnston) Lewis at Grove, Ok. She grew up in Grove, after graduating from Southwest City High school she worked at the Delaware County Court House in Jay as a Registrar of Deeds. She married Lowell "Jack" Walls March 8, 1941 at Jay, Ok. They moved to Augusta, Ks. and lived there for over 20 years. She worked at Boeing Aircraft and Beech Aircraft before moving back to Grove to take care of her parents. Silvia bowled on several bowling leagues at Grove, and loved to play Bingo. She was also a lifetime member of the First Christian Church at Grove. Survivors includes her husband, Jack Walls of Grove, Ok. Five children: Naomia L. Tate and husband David of Jay, Ok. Virginia A. Watkins of Grove, Ok., Ella West of Grove, Ok., David Henry Walls and wife Susan of Leavenworth, Ks., and Jack Lee Walls and wife Elaine of Augusta, Ks. One sister: Imogene McLaughlin and husband Jack of Haysville, Ks. Three brothers: Louie Lewis of Augusta, Ks., Jake Lewis of Wichita, Ks., and Lon Lewis formerly of Grove, Ok. 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Grover and Lovie Lewis. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday January 18, 2007 at the First Christian Church at Grove. Dr. Wayne Shaw to officiate.
