Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. 918-786-2261 Stella Snell, 77-year-old resident of Grove, Oklahoma passed on to her heavenly home surrounded by family on October 21, 2018.
Stella was born March 6 1941 in Clever Missouri. She grew up in Mount Vernon, Missouri where she met and married Homer Snell 51 years ago in June of 1967.
We have lost our sweet angel who has gone to meet our creator. Stella was the kind of person who never met a stranger. With that smile of hers she would always listen and help anyone that needed help. Stella was always compassionate and full of life and laughter. She touched so many people and will be greatly missed. Stella loved to travel with one of her most memorable trips being to Israel where she was baptized in the Jordan River. Her joys in life that she treasured most was family, being a wife and best friend to Homer for 51 years, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by her husband Homer Snell of Grove: daughters Vickie Stovall, Lorri Bowers and Cheryl Snell Bushman of Wyandotte; Leanne Diebold of Broken Arrow and Angie Snell of Grove. Her sister Shirley Smith of Mt. Vernon; brothers Bill Evatt of Kansas City and Lloyd Evatt, Bob Evatt, and Paul Evatt of Mt. Vernon Mo. Grandchildren Shawn Stovall, Amos Easley, Tasha Stovall, Brandon Bowers, Nikki Bowers, Chelsey Kirk, Codi Wright, Erin Williams, Zachary Diebold and Dakota Bushman as well as 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
