Funeral services for Steven Charles "Steve" Rowe are 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 10, 2013 at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. Interment follows at Ball Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Steven Charles Rowe passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at his home. He was born March 29, 1966 in Mora, Minnesota to Beverly (Nieminen) and Robert H. Rowe. Steve moved to Nowata at the age of 8 years old and was a graduate of Nowata High School. He worked as NRCS Equipment Manager for Nowata County Conservation District for over 10 years. Steve was owner of Duke's Restaurant in Nowata, he had worked for Snider's Dairy and was a welder. Steve was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church of Nowata. He loved woodworking and the outdoors and enjoyed building and flying kites with his niece and nephew, Darbie and Clay. Steve is survived by his wife Carol of the home; his parents Robert Rowe of Nowata and Beverly Fetty of Bartlesville; four sisters, Margaret Watson and husband Dan of Plano, Texas, Brenda Rynes and husband Jim of Blue Springs, Missouri, Susan Patterson and husband Don of Cushing, Oklahoma, Diana Coe and husband Mike of Talala; one brother, Phillip Rowe and wife Sarah of Nowata, Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, Ethan Cummings and wife Tina and their two children, Darbie and Clay and several more nieces and nephews.
