Steven Welch

Steven Scott Welch, 43, a resident of Miami passed away at his parent's home in Grove on Monday, April 28, 2009. Steven was born on November 1, 1965 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Herman and Carolyn K. (Hill) Welch. Mr. Welch graduated High School from Broken Arrow High School. He married Lori Wallace on September 26, 1992 in Broken Arrow, OK. Steven worked as a self employed house painter, He loved to raise pit bull dogs, fishing, hunting, just being outside. He also loved to listen to music; his favorite was Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. He enjoyed life but most of all loved his wife and parents. Survivors include his wife of the home Lori Welch, his parents Herman and Carolyn Welch of Grove, a brother Bryan Welch of Seligman, MO and eleven nieces and nephews along with his father in law Verble Wallace of Mounds. There will be a memorial service for Steven at 2:30 PM, on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove with Mr. Doug Rainbolt officiating. Memorial Donations may be made to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Effort or the Church of Christ Children's Home in Lubbock (The Children's Home of Lubbock).
