Sue Gardner

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita - 918-256-5555 - Sue Ann Gardner passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 in Baxter Springs, Kansas. She was born September 13, 1942 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Ned and Lee Mae (Eberhardt) Ball. She graduated from Cleveland, Oklahoma continued her education earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Sue worked many years at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri before retiring. Sue enjoyed antiquing and volunteering to help others. She was very family oriented and loved to care for and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Sue will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by her son Joe Gardner and his wife Kimberly, of Vinita, Oklahoma; a daughter, Beth Wood and husband David, of Joplin, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Dain, Jace and Jera Wood. She is preceded by her parents Ned and Lee Mae Ball, and a grandchild Emma Wood.
Services for Mrs. Gardner will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., at the College Heights Christian Church, 4311 East Newman Rd., Joplin, Missouri, 64801.
