Sue Wells

Sue Wells, 62 year old Vinita resident, died Tuesday August 23, 2011 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born April 28, 1949 in Chula Vista, California; her parents were Willard and Gail Thompson. Sue graduated from Muskogee High School and later married Billy Wells. She was a longtime employee of Lowe's Home Improvement Store in Claremore and Bartlesville. Sue was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family very much. Sue will be greatly missed by all. The family includes: her loving husband Billy Wells of the home, two sons, Chad Wells and wife Jalene of Vinita, Trevor Wells and wife Sheryl of Perkins; grandchildren, ShyAnne Wells, Joshua Burch, Bryce Wells, Baylee Wells, Necia Majcher, all who loved her greatly; two brothers, Ed Thompson and wife Molly of Dennison, Texas; Jim Thompson and wife Alberta of Warner, Oklahoma; a special cousin, Tim Walkingstick of California. Also numerous nieces and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, and Aunt Winnie Walkingstick. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening in the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 10:00 in the Luginbuel Chapel, with Brother Clarence Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Serving as casket bearers will be, Chris, Nick, and Jeremy Thompson, Joshua Burch and Jeremy Scott. Honorary bearers will be, Terry Joe Thompson, Jim Allen Thompson and Terry Elders.
