Susie Catron

Susie Ann (Snell) Catron, Kansas resident, died Thursday evening in Tahlequah at the age of 71 years old. She was born on May 3, 1942 in Tahlequah to her parents, Curley and Ruby (Noe) Snell. After high school, Susie attended NSU and received her Masters Degree in Education and went on to work as a teacher and counselor for the Kansas and Kenwood schools. Susie loved boating, going to casinos, traveling with her family, spending time with them, and watching sports, especially when her grandkids were playing. Susie is preceded in death by her parents Curley and Ruby; husband, Vesper; brother, Joe; and sisters, Faye and Bertha. She leaves many loving memories with her family, son, Randall Dozhier and wife Vicki; daughter, Kathy Foreman, and daughter, Valerie Dozhier and Nate O'Field; brothers, Curtis Snell and wife Leetha, Doug Snell and wife Clairene, Jerry Snell and wife Cheryl, and Dennis Snell and wife Debbie; sisters, Loretta Smith and Phyllis Snell; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Viewing and Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday December 16, 2013 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Lowery Freewill Baptist Church in Twin Oaks, OK with Pastor Lance Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Long Prairie Cemetery.
