Tami Hindman

October 11, 1965 — April 18, 2013

Tami Marlene Hindman was born October 11, 1965, in Nowata to, David Carnell and Wanda (Belden) Kirby. She attended Nowata Schools. On April 1, 1983 she married Joe "Punkin" Hindman in Nowata. Tami was a very caring person that loved to take care of family, friends, and animals. She loved people and was a friend to everyone she met. Tami enjoyed painting, writing, and reading. She also enjoyed fishing and tormenting Bub Little and Tim Wimberley. Above all the things Tami enjoyed, the most important and dearest to her heart were her husband, mother, sisters, grandchildren, and all of her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband Joe, of the home; her mother and step-father, Wanda and Ernie Kirby, four grandchildren, Josh Hindman, Faith Blum, Harley Hulsman, and Jacob Hulsman; four sisters, Lorena Frye, Cindy Moss and husband Robert, Kris Frauenberger and husband Michael, Wanda Jackson and husband Chris, all of Nowata; a brother Michael Carnell of Nashville, Tennessee; a nephew Timmy Lee Hindman and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Her father, David Carnell, precedes her in death. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Living Word Family Church with Pastor Matt Rowell and Pastor Jim Winslow officiating. The family suggests memorials in Tami's name be sent to a memorial fund established by the Living Word Family Church at 225 South Ash Nowata, OK 74048.
