Tarleton C Dick, 81, a longtime Grove resident passed away at Integris Grove General Hospital on Friday, March 20, 2009. Mr. Dick was born on November 19, 1927 in Eucha, Oklahoma to Isaac and Cleo (Sanders) Dick. He was a lifelong Delaware county resident except for the years he was working for USDA as a Program Administrator in Bristow, Coalgate, Muskogee and Stillwater. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1946 and served during the Korean War where he earned the rank of Technical Sergeant. He was a member of the Grove Moose, the Grove Masonic Lodge and the American Legion in Jay. Tarleton's parents' three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. His love of fifty-three years Betty Lou Potter survives of the home, his daughter Jo Ann Ringdahl and her husband Robert of Virginia, Dan T. Dick and his wife Tena of Arkansas, Tal Dick and his wife Kathy of Tulsa, Kenneth Dick and his wife Jill of Tennessee, grandchildren Rebecca Miller and her husband Kevin, Ryan Ringdahl, Rachel Ringdahl, Jonathan Ringdahl, Ashley Dick, Tyler Dick, Blaine Dick, Bailee Dick, Kylee Dick, Reese Bolin, Lauren Findahl, Jessica Mathews and her husband Mike, and great grandson Emery Findahl, his sisters Beatrice Johnston, Carole Sue Edwards and Naomi Sebastian. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Grove with Reverend James Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in the Duffield Cemetery in Jay, OK under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
