Tary Roe Clump

Tary Roe Clump, 70, of Bartlesville, OK, passed away Thursday morning, May 25, 2023, at The Journey Home Hospice House north of Bartlesville.

Tary was born January 25, 1953, in Enid, Oklahoma to Harold Clump and Lillie (Terrell) Clump.  He grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma and received his education there.  Tary went on to Oklahoma State University, where he attained Bachelor of Science Degrees in Wildlife Management and Zoology. He married Joni Meredith on September 20, 1980, in Oklahoma City. Tary served as District Executive of the Boy Scouts of America.  The Clumps made their home in McAlester, OK for 23 years, before moving to Bartlesville, five years ago.  

Tary was a member of the Rotary Club of Mcalester, as well as East Cross United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joni Clump of the home; two sons, Casey Clump and wife, Autumn of Broken Arrow, OK, and Bryan Clump and wife, Rachel of Bartlesville; two sisters, Barbara Phye and husband, Bob of Wichita, KS and Loretta Fauchier and husband, Dennis of Enid; two grandsons, Andrew & Wesley Clump, both of Bartlesville; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Tary was preceded by his parents, Harold & Lillie Clump, by his sister, Keela Englert and her husband, Chuck and by one brother, Gary Clump.

Funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Chapel with Pastor Chad Perceful, officiating. A committal service will be that afternoon at 3pm, Banner Cemetery, Dover, OK.  Service and interment are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9am -8pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, with family receiving friends from 6-8pm.
