Ted Baer

Ted Eugene Baer of Jay, Oklahoma died at 4:15 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. He was 60. Ted was born July 20, 1948 in Laporte, Indiana to Roy and Evelyn (Thompson) Baer. After he graduated from Chisholm Trail Academy High School in Keene, Texas, he completed three years of college in Texas. Ted was the owner and operator of Ted E. Baer Trucking and Maysville Lime. He was also manager of Ottawa County Farm Supply/Midwest Fertilizer in Maysville, Arkansas. On September 5, 2004, Ted married Patricia Louise Pearce at Jay, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his parents, Roy and Evelyn Baer of Gentry, Arkansas; five daughters, Rhonda Doss of Arcata, California, Realena Dawn Atwood of Gentry, Arkansas, Julie Herod of Gentry, Arkansas, Heidi Baer of Chicago, Illinois, and Bridgett Ragsdale of Gentry, Arkansas; one step-daughter, Lynette Detwiler of Salinas, California; one brother, Samuel Baer and one sister, Lucy Bradley both from Italy, Texas; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Jay, Oklahoma with Dr. Rollin Bland, Lay Pastor, officiating.
