Ted Wesley Gregory passed away Tuesday September 25, 2018 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born August 10, 1924 to Clair Raymond Gregory Sr. and Mable Ellen (Hill) Gregory in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Ted received his education from Barnsdall School District where he graduated and continued his education at the University of Oklahoma, receiving an associate degree. On April 20, 1943 he enlisted in the Army and moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he studied as a radio operator and a mechanic gunner AAF. In the army Ted was a 509th Bombardment Squadron he was one of the few that survived their missions to Rhineland, Ardennes; Central Europe and Northern France. On July 3, 1945 he was honorably discharged out the military with a Good Conduct Medal, EAME Service Ribbon, one Silver Service Star, Air Medal Go, and one Silver Oak Leaf Cluster. After being discharged out of the Army he moved back to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where he married the love of his life Mary J. Franklin on August 16, 1946 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Ted was an accountant for Forrest Oil Company in Nowata, Oklahoma for 39 years. He also was a preacher around Nowata; Adair Christian Church; Dearing, Kansas Christian Church and Alena Christian Church in San Antonia, Texas. He enjoyed serving the Lord and being a charter member for Hillside Christian Church. Ted was a man of his word, he always put others first. He held a special place in his heart for his family and friends. Ted will be missed by all who knew him.
Ted is survived by his wife Mary J. Gregory of the home, Two Children; Paul W. Gregory of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Dale Ann (Gregory) Price and husband David of Plano, Texas; and Eight Grandchildren; Brain Price, Aaron Price, Christopher Price, Kevin Price, McKenzie Price, Paige Price, Warren Wesley Gregory, Daniella Lynette Gregory and Three Great Grandchildren as well a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clair Raymond Gregory Sr. and Mable Ellen (Hill) Gregory, Two Brothers; Clair Gregory Jr. and Leon Gregory and One Sister Joy (Gregory) Kuhn.
