Ted Leon Reece Sr, was called to Heaven on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a sudden illness. Ted was born on May 2, 1941 to Sherman and Zenoma (Miller) Reece. Ted enjoyed spending time with his children, being a friend to Trevor and Joe, and fighting with Codie an Reanna. He enjoyed dealing in cars and trading, as well as camping fishing, hunting and riding around in his old golf cart. Ted also loved tyo travel and eating Ginger and Marge's frybread. Ted was one of a kind and many of his children and grandchildren try to emulate him. Ted was preceded in death by two sons, Richie H. Reece Sr. and Marty Reece, parents, Sherman and Zonoma Reece, a father-in-law Billie Joe (Bill) Trout Sr. Ted is survived by the love of his life, wife Ginger Reece, children Trevor and Codie Reece, all of the home, Teddy Reece, of Grove, Oklahoma, Robbie Reece, of Noel Missouri a dear friend, John Pederson, Sherry Montgomery of Springfield, Missouri, Pam Hopper of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Jeanne Hernandez of Neosho, Missouri, Tammy Cantrell, of Southwest City, Missouri, Nickolas Reece of Jay, Oklahoma, Ted is also survived by two sisters, Betty Ann Meadow of Grove, Oklahoma, and Sharon Reed of Claremore, Oklahoma, five brothers, Login Reece, Amos Reece, Larry Reece, Calvin Reece, all of Jay, Oklahoma, J.D. Reece of Noel, Missouri, twenty-one grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, as well as many many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ted will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday June 10, 2011 at the Southwest City First Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 9, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
