Teresa Bass

Teresa Lynn Bass, 57 year old lifetime Vinita resident, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016. She was born on April 7, 1959 in Miami, to Dave N. "Cowboy" and Della Marie (Parnell) Malotte. Teresa was a 1977 graduate of Vinita High School. She married Sam Bass on July 25, 1977 at the Ironside Church west of Vinita. Teresa was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita, where she was a faithful member. Teresa worked at the family's business, Sam's Tire Shop for many years, until she handed her job off to her daughter Kim. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Teresa enjoyed doing a little retail therapy, working with her flowers outside and loving on her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, and a sister, Deborah Malotte. The family includes her husband Sam of the home; children, Kim Pifer and husband Josh, Sammy "Dink" Bass, Jr. and wife Tina all of Vinita; sisters Connie Walls and husband Darrel of Vinita, Sheila Anderson of Broken Arrow; brother, Kato Malotte and wife Cindy of Sperry; grandchildren, Denton Effinger and fiancé` Cheyenne Carter, Cheyenne Round, Brennan Round, Hadlie Seaton, Brian Tippett-Pifer, Sami Tippett-Pifer, Pierson Pifer; also her nieces and nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, November 21, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Leon Landrum officiating.
