Terry L. Abercrombie, 55 years old of Grove, Oklahoma went to rejoice eternally with our Lord on October 27, 2010 in Wichita, Kansas where she ended her yearlong battle with cancer. Born in Corona, California on July 28, 1955 to Jessie and Helen (Papi) Patrick, Terry was the middle child of 5. She grew up in Neosho, Missouri where she married Terry Williams and bore her only child, Tina (Williams) Sholl. Most recently, she resided in Grove, Oklahoma where she was the Airport Manager and was instrumental in the growth and expansion of the Grove Municipal Airport. She loved reading, fishing, gardening, animals, and above all, cooking and entertaining for friends, family, and even strangers (as in the many cookouts at the airport). Terry is survived by her daughter, Tina Sholl and husband Cleve, grandchildren Chris, Abigail, and Hayden Sholl, and one great grandson Connor Sholl all of Andover, Kansas. She also has three surviving brothers Max Patrick and wife Perrine of Atlanta, Georgia, Dale Patrick and wife Barbara of Joplin, Missouri and Dennis Patrick and wife Yvonne of Neosho, Missouri and former husbands, Terry Williams of Mesquite, Texas and James Abercrombie of Grove, Oklahoma. She also has multiple nieces and nephews and two Boston Terriers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Helen Patrick of Neosho, Missouri, brother Henry Patrick of Ozark, Missouri and sister Karen Cole of Neosho, Missouri. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Delaware Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma.
